This table started with a heavy bolt flange ring from a worldwide mining equipment company.  Hand punched part numbers are stamped into the ring perimeter.  The ring is rough cut on a lathe leaving it textured with concentric machining lines.   The vertical spokes are motorcycle frame tubes from a motorcycle company with one plant here in York, PA.  We topped this table with a mahogany foundry pattern from the past life of our own building, York Ice Machinery.  There's a little of three corporations in this table who each made a major lasting imprint on the world we know today.  Research York, PA.  Your air conditioning and refrigerator came from one, motorcycle culture from another, and every product you touch, had some component that was crushed, toasted or conveyed through the machinery of this mining equipment fabricator.
